EXPLORE CANADA

Explore Western Canada from Calgary to Vancouver with a highlight stay-over in Banff National Park in Alberta, optional excursions to Lake Louise or the Columbia Ice Fields in Jasper before moving on to Vancouver with golf opportunities and an optional excursion to world famous Whistler ski mountain.

BANFF, ALBERTA

Several nights in Banff, with several hotel options to choose from including the famous Banff Springs Hotel, possibly the most famous vacation hotel in North America or budget gems like the Hidden Ridge Resort.

Arriving in Calgary, you will relax for a day or two to overcome jet lag and then shuttle to Banff. Maybe a bit of local sightseeing in Banff the first day and on the second day you will take a 3 hour highlights tour including several locations popular with wild-life. Maybe the gondola and the hot springs in the days following and plenty of time for shopping and restaurants.

An optional afternoon at Fairmont’s Chateau Lake Louise including the lobby bar restaurant for elk ribs and Nova Scotia lobster.

Another option is to travel Jasper and visit the Athabasca Glacier, part of the Columbia Ice Fields which covers roughly 325 square kilometres and is up to 300+ meters deep.

It is the mother of all rivers feeding the Pacific Ocean, the Arctic Ocean and even the Atlantic. And yes, you can taste the water directly from meltwater streams on the Athabasca Glacier, fresh, pure water that is many thousands years old.

Stay several days in picturesque Vancouver with plenty of opportunities for shopping and golf.

World famous as the site of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and ranked as the #1 ski destination in North America. Whistler is a day-trip excursion from Vancouver with an overnight stay option.

Victoria, British Columbia is a charming harbor city about 90 minutes ferry ride from Vancouver, famous for its historic architecture, stunning gardens and coastal wildlife.  Weather permitting is is a lovely add-on.
